Gdańsk Airport Taxi to Lębork: Route, Journey Time and Price

Lębork sits just under 75 km west of Gdańsk Airport on the S6 expressway, and for many travellers it is less a destination than a gateway to the Slovincian Coast: to Łeba, the shifting dunes and the lakes Łebsko and Sarbsko. The trouble starts once you land, because no direct train and no direct bus leaves the terminal in that direction. Below is what actually decides the choice: the route, an honest journey time, the fixed fare from 370 PLN (approx. 92 EUR) per car and a list of what it covers.

1) Lębork as a gateway to the Slovincian Coast

Lębork is a county town west of Trójmiasto, with the Gothic church of St James, fragments of medieval town walls and the remains of a Teutonic castle. Plenty of people come here for specific reasons: family, university, business, the hospital. Even more treat Lębork as a waypoint, because this is the shortest way through to Łeba and on towards Slovincian National Park with its shifting dunes and the open-air museum at Kluki.

For both groups the transport picture looks the same: Gdańsk Airport is the nearest port with a broad route network, yet you cannot reach this direction from the terminal in a single hop. The railway requires a change in Gdańsk or Gdynia, and long-distance coach timetables shift with the season and rarely line up with landing times. A transfer closes the whole gap in one ride: you walk out of arrivals and step out at the address you gave us.

We cover the neighbouring directions separately. For the northern corridor through Rumia, Reda and Wejherowo see Gdańsk Airport taxi to Wejherowo, and for the longer run into central Pomerania see Gdańsk Airport taxi to Słupsk. This article is about Lębork and its surroundings only.

2) The route: Trójmiasto bypass and the S6

From the airport we join the Trójmiasto bypass heading north, then the S6 expressway towards Lębork and Słupsk. It is dual carriageway the whole way and it bypasses Gdynia, Reda, Wejherowo and Bożepole Wielkie. From the Lębork junction it is a few more minutes to your address in town. In total about 75 km and usually 1 hour 10 minutes.

Distance

About 75 km from the terminal to central Lębork. Addresses in Nowa Wieś Lęborska, Mosty or Garczegorze add a few kilometres.

Journey time

Usually around 1 hour 10 minutes. Traffic on the S6 thickens on Friday afternoons and summer weekends, when half the region drives to the coast.

A stop on the way

There are service areas with toilets and coffee along the route. A short break at your request is no problem, especially when you travel with children.

For evening and night arrivals the S6 is empty and the drive can be quicker than in daytime. That changes the fare in neither direction: there is no night or weekend surcharge. We write more about after-dark rides in night transfers from Gdańsk Airport, and about why congestion does not inflate the bill in does the price change in traffic or at night.

3) The fare to Lębork and what it covers

A transfer from Gdańsk Airport to Lębork costs from 370 PLN (approx. 92 EUR) for the whole car. The price is fixed: we set it when you book and confirm it by SMS or e-mail before the ride. There is no meter, so roadworks on the S6 or a landing at two in the morning do not change the amount at the end.

Destination from Gdańsk Airport Distance (approx.) Time (approx.) Price per car
Wejherowo approx. 45 km approx. 45 min from 250 PLN (~62 EUR)
Lębork approx. 75 km approx. 1 h 10 min from 370 PLN (~92 EUR)
Łeba approx. 95 km approx. 1 h 30 min from 500 PLN (~125 EUR)
Słupsk approx. 135 km approx. 2 h from 600 PLN (~150 EUR)
Nowa Wieś Lęborska, Wicko, Sarbsk, Kluki depends on the address approx. 1 h 15 min to 1 h 45 min individual quote

Included in the price:

  • ✓Pickup in the arrivals hall and help with your bags.
  • ✓Flight monitoring and up to 60 minutes of waiting from the actual landing.
  • ✓Luggage, including suitcases and beach gear, within the car's capacity.
  • ✓No night, weekend or public-holiday surcharges.
  • ✓Payment in cash, by card, BLIK or bank transfer, VAT invoice available.

Optional extras are a child seat or booster (+30 PLN each) and a stop along the way (+30 PLN), for apartment keys or a shop run before you arrive. The base rate covers a car for up to 3 passengers; larger groups travel by van on an individual quote, which we describe in group airport transfers in Gdańsk. Beyond the first free hour of waiting we charge 1 PLN per extra minute. The full list of destinations is in our transfer price list, and the route details are on the Gdańsk Airport to Lębork page.

4) Onward to the sea: Łeba, Nowęcin, Sarbsk

If Lębork is only a waypoint and you are sleeping by the sea, the usual destination is Łeba: about 95 km from the airport, normally 1 hour 30 minutes, fixed from 500 PLN (approx. 125 EUR). The last leg follows a regional road through Nowa Wieś Lęborska and Wicko, so it is single carriageway, slower than the S6 and loaded with holiday traffic at the height of the season. That is why we quote the journey time with slack rather than the number a navigation app shows at three in the morning.

Addresses in Nowęcin, Sarbsk, Steknica or Żarnowska lie on the way or a few kilometres from Łeba and we quote them individually. The same goes for Kluki with its Slovincian open-air museum and the entrances to Slovincian National Park. When booking, give us the name of the property and the street, ideally with a map link, because along the coast many guesthouses have similar names and sit side by side on one access road.

We also serve seaside destinations closer to Trójmiasto: Władysławowo from 300 PLN (approx. 75 EUR) and Hel from 450 PLN (approx. 113 EUR). When to set off for the Hel Peninsula and Łeba to stay out of seasonal jams is covered in Hel Peninsula, Władysławowo and Łeba: when to leave.

5) Luggage, families and the summer season

A trip to the coast rarely means one suitcase per person. The boot takes big holdalls, a pushchair, a windbreak, sometimes fishing gear or a board. A standard car for up to 3 passengers usually swallows three large suitcases plus hand luggage. If you are carrying more, say so in the booking notes instead of hoping it fits. We will send a bigger car and confirm the price in advance, not in the terminal car park. Capacities are broken down in how much luggage space a transfer really has.

With children, one thing matters: a seat matched to age and height, ordered together with the ride. We carry infant carriers, seats for children from 6 months to 3 years and boosters for older kids, each at 30 PLN. Tick them in the form, because we fit them before we leave for the airport, not after you land. Details are in child seats in an airport transfer.

In July and August, book ahead, ideally as soon as your ticket is issued. Weekend arrivals heading for the Slovincian Coast bunch into a few afternoon hours, and that is when car availability at a specific time becomes a real constraint. How to prepare such a booking is covered in how to book a Gdańsk Airport taxi in advance.

6) Train, bus or transfer

Lębork has a decent rail link with Trójmiasto on the line towards Słupsk, but not with the airport itself. From the station by the terminal you first travel to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz or Gdynia Główna, then change to a long-distance or regional train. In practice that is two changes with luggage, plus platform waiting that turns into a lottery when your flight runs late. The train is cheaper if you travel alone and light; with two people and suitcases the cost gap narrows while the gap in time and comfort stays.

Long-distance coaches do run this way, but timetables are seasonal and they leave from the bus stations in Gdańsk or Gdynia, not from the airport. Ride-hailing apps will usually take the job, except the price depends on how the algorithm reads demand at that moment, and for a flight at an unusual hour it happens that nobody accepts the request at all. We compare both options in Bolt, Uber or a private transfer from Gdańsk Airport.

A transfer wins wherever predictability counts: you know the fare before you fly, the driver waits in arrivals with a name board, and a delay simply means a later pickup because we track your flight number. What to do if the flight is moved or cancelled is covered in delayed or cancelled flight: what to do.

7) The return trip and how to book

The fare towards the airport matches the fare from it, so the return from Lębork is also from 370 PLN (approx. 92 EUR) per car. Book both legs together and prepay, and the return gets a 10 percent discount. We work the pickup time backwards from departure: roughly 2 hours at the airport for a Schengen flight, plus the hour and ten minutes of driving and a margin in case the S6 misbehaves. We set this out in detail in when to leave for Gdańsk Airport.

Booking takes a few minutes. In the form give the address in Lębork or nearby, the date, the time and your flight number, and if you are coming back, tick the return transfer straight away. Requests placed less than 2 hours before the ride we take by phone or WhatsApp. You choose how to pay: cash in złoty or euro, card, BLIK, bank transfer, and for companies a VAT invoice, which we explain in Gdańsk Airport transfers with a VAT invoice.

In short: Gdańsk Airport to Lębork is about 75 km on the S6, usually 1 hour 10 minutes, at a fixed price from 370 PLN (approx. 92 EUR) per car for up to 3 passengers. Further to the coast: Łeba from 500 PLN (approx. 125 EUR), smaller places by the lakes on an individual quote. No meter, no night surcharge, pickup in the arrivals hall and flight monitoring throughout.
FAQ
How much is a taxi from Gdańsk Airport to Lębork?

A transfer from Gdańsk Airport to Lębork costs from 370 PLN (approx. 92 EUR) for the whole car, up to 3 passengers. The price is fixed at booking, with no meter and no surcharge for traffic, night hours, weekends or public holidays. It includes the arrivals-hall pickup, luggage, flight monitoring and up to 60 minutes of waiting from the actual landing time.

How long does the drive from Gdańsk Airport to Lębork take?

About 1 hour 10 minutes over roughly 75 km. The whole route runs along the Trójmiasto bypass and the S6 expressway, so the timing is predictable. On Friday afternoons and summer weekends allow some extra slack for heavier traffic heading to the coast.

Can you continue from Lębork to Łeba?

Yes, Łeba is a separate destination in our price list: from 500 PLN (approx. 125 EUR) per car, about 95 km and usually 1 hour 30 minutes from the airport. If you are staying in Łeba, Nowęcin, Sarbsk or Wicko, give us the exact address when booking and we will confirm the price before the ride.

Is there a direct train from Gdańsk Airport to Lębork?

There is no direct train from the station at the terminal. You first have to take a train to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz or Gdynia Główna and change there for a service towards Lębork and Słupsk. With luggage after a flight that change is the most tiring part of the journey, which is why many travellers choose a door-to-door transfer.

Is the price per person or per car?

Per car. The rate from 370 PLN (approx. 92 EUR) covers a car for up to 3 passengers and the luggage that fits in the boot. For 4 passengers or unusually bulky luggage we send a larger car or a van and quote the trip individually, always before you book.

Can I book the return trip from Lębork to the airport at the same time?

Yes. Tick the return transfer in the form and give the date and departure time. The return leg gets a 10 percent discount if you prepay for both journeys. The fare towards the airport is the same as from it, with no early-morning surcharge.
