Arrived at GDN with a young child? Here's a practical step-by-step guide from landing to your final destination — without the stress.
After landing
You have about 20–40 minutes before reaching the arrivals hall — passport control + baggage claim. No need to rush. Your driver is waiting for you.
Nappy changing and feeds
GDN has a family room on level 0 near the arrivals hall. Take the time you need — the driver will wait.
Meeting your driver
Your driver waits at the arrivals exit with a sign. They'll help with luggage and the pushchair straight away.
Into the car
Child seat is already fitted. Driver loads the luggage, you secure the child. No waiting at taxi ranks.
Journey
Fixed route, quiet and comfortable. No unexpected stops. The driver knows the way — you focus on the child.
- Request child seat at booking — specify age and weight.
- Mention pushchair — driver can plan boot space.
- If you need extra stop (e.g. pharmacy) — mention at booking or WhatsApp.
- For night flights — pre-booked transfer means guaranteed pickup.

Does the driver help with a pushchair?
Yes — the driver will load and unload the pushchair. Mention it when booking so they know what to expect.
How long will the driver wait for us?
The first 60 minutes after landing are included. If you need longer (e.g. for a feed or nappy change), just call or WhatsApp the driver; after that waiting is 1 PLN per minute.
Is a pre-booked transfer really necessary with children?
It makes a huge difference. No waiting at a taxi rank, child seat ready, driver waits however long you need — versus hoping the taxi rank has a car with a child seat at 02:00.
